Annie Malone began her career as a door-to-door saleswoman for her haircare products. She turned that into a global operation that employed thousands of people. Janice Bryant Howroyd also built a global empire with just $1500, a desk, and a fax machine. Now, she has over 17,000 clients spanning 19 countries.
